ICP stands for International Certificate Pleasure Craft and is an unofficial proof of ownership, which has to be renewed every two years.
Certificate of Registry
This certificate, called - Zeebrief - in Dutch, confirms a seaworthy boat is registered in the official ships registrar of the Netherlands and gives the boat the Dutch nationality.
Certificate Inland Waterway Vessel
This certificate confirms a boat, meant to only navigate inland waterways, is registered in the official ships registrar of the Netherlands and gives the boat the Dutch nationality.
Certificate of Withdrawal
Proving that a vessel has been withdrawn from the ships registrar. This certificate is required when submitting an application for registration in the ships registrar of another flag state.
Declaration of Nationality
A declaration required to be issued as part of the process of obtaining a Certificate of Registry.
Tonnage Certificate
Issued together with the Certificate of Registry, or separately if so required, stating the basic measurements of the vessel.
Ship Station Licence
The licence that appoints a CallSign, MMSI and ATIS identification number to the vessel. The licences requires renewing at the end of each calendar year.
